Bottle Flip Tycoon

Last updated: 22 September 2026

1. Who we are

Bottle Flip Tycoon (“the Game”) is developed and published by Simone Clementini, an individual developer based in Italy. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Simone Clementini is the data controller for the limited processing described in this policy.

2. The short version

3. Data we collect, and why

3.1 Data stored only on your device

Your progress — money, bottles, upgrades, prestige, unlocked cosmetics, settings, language and statistics — is written to the Game’s local storage on your device. It is not transmitted to us and we have no way to read it. It is removed when you uninstall the Game or clear its data. If your device or store account backs up app data (for example iCloud or Android Backup), that copy is governed by Apple’s or Google’s privacy policy, not this one.

iCloud save sync (iOS only). If you are signed in to iCloud on your device, the Game also keeps a copy of that same save in your own iCloud account, using Apple’s key-value storage, so that your progress follows you when you change device or reinstall the Game. There is nothing to sign in to and no account to create: it is the Apple ID already on the device. The copy goes to your iCloud account and nowhere else — it does not pass through any server of ours, we cannot read it, and while it is there it is governed by Apple’s privacy policy rather than this one. You can turn it off at any time in iOS Settings, under your name → iCloud, by switching the Game off in the list of apps using iCloud; deleting the Game’s iCloud data removes the copy.

Leaderboard and nickname. The Game has a leaderboard, and it works entirely on your device. The Game has no server: the 200 rivals you see are characters generated by the Game itself from a fixed list, identical for everyone — they are not other players, and no data about them is downloaded. Your own entry (career earnings, level and prestige stars) is computed from your local save. The nickname you choose to appear on the leaderboard is stored in that same save file, on your device (and in your own iCloud, if the sync above is on). Your nickname and your scores are never transmitted to us or to any third party, and no other player can see them. There is nothing to opt in to because nothing is sent. You can remove your nickname at any time in the Game’s profile; the leaderboard is deleted together with the rest of the save data (section 12).

Time-limited events and their leaderboard. The Game runs time-limited events (the first is “Halloween”, 14–31 October 2026). An event is a separate game mode with its own in-game currency, and it has its own leaderboard — which works exactly like the one above: it is simulated on your device, the 40 rivals are characters generated by the Game from a fixed list and identical for everyone, and your own score is computed from your local save. Your nickname and your event scores are never transmitted to us or to any third party, and no other player can see them. Event prizes are in-game only and have no monetary value; nothing you earn there can be cashed out. The event, its currency and its leaderboard are stored in the same save file, on your device (and in your own iCloud, if the sync above is on), and are deleted with it (section 12).

3.2 Data collected by advertising (Google AdMob)

The Game shows rewarded ads, which you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game reward. There are no banner ads and no interstitial ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob. To serve, cap, measure and protect those ads, Google may collect and process:

Google acts as an independent controller for this processing. What Google does with the data is described in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

3.3 Crash and performance data

Apple and Google may share aggregated crash reports and performance statistics with us through App Store Connect and the Google Play Console. These are provided in aggregate form and are not used to identify individual players.

3.4 What we never collect

4. Consent for personalised advertising

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the Game asks for your choice about personalised advertising before serving ads, using Google’s consent management interface (UMP). You may accept personalised ads, or refuse them and still play — refusing means you will see non-personalised ads instead, which are chosen from general context rather than from a profile.

On iOS, a separate system prompt (App Tracking Transparency) asks whether apps may track you across other companies’ apps and websites. If you decline, the IDFA is not made available.

You can change your advertising choice at any time from the Game’s settings, and you can reset or delete your advertising identifier from your device settings (Android: Settings › Google › Ads; iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking).

5. Legal basis for processing (GDPR Article 6)

PurposeLegal basis
Personalised advertising and related measurementYour consent — Art. 6(1)(a). You can withdraw it at any time.
Non-personalised advertising, frequency capping, fraud and invalid-traffic prevention, securityLegitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f): funding a free game and keeping the advertising system honest and functional.
Processing in-app purchasesPerformance of a contract — Art. 6(1)(b), carried out by the store, which is also subject to its own legal obligations.
Saving your progress on your device, and its copy in your iCloudNo processing of personal data by us: the data never reaches us. The iCloud copy stays inside your own Apple account.
Aggregated crash and performance reportsLegitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f): fixing faults and keeping the Game working.

6. In-app purchases

The Game offers optional in-app purchases (for example gem packs or a battle pass). Payments are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store, according to the account you are signed in with. We receive only anonymous, aggregated sales reports. We never receive or store your card number, billing address or any other payment credential. Refunds are handled by the store under its own terms.

7. Third parties

Google Play (Google Ireland Ltd.)Distribution, in-app purchases, crash reportspolicies.google.com/privacy
Apple App Store (Apple Inc. / Apple Distribution International)Distribution, in-app purchases, crash reportsapple.com/legal/privacy

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers. We use no analytics SDK, no social-network SDK and no attribution SDK beyond what is listed above.

8. International transfers

The providers above may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. They state that they rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Details are in their own privacy policies, linked above.

9. How long data is kept

10. Children

The Game is not directed at children under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in your country, which in Italy is 14). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Where the Game is distributed to a mixed or child audience, or where a user is identified as a child by the store’s own age signals, advertising is restricted to non-personalised, child-appropriate ads in line with Google Play’s Families policy and the App Store’s Kids-related rules.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal data, please write to idlebloom7@gmail.com and we will act promptly.

11. Your rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to:

An honest caveat about how to exercise them: because we hold no account and no identifier of yours, we generally cannot find “your” data — there is nothing on our side to look up. Requests concerning advertising data should be addressed to Google, which holds it; requests concerning purchases should be addressed to the store that processed them. We will help you route a request if you write to us.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

12. Deleting your data

Uninstalling the Game removes the local save from your device. To remove advertising data, reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings and, if you wish, submit a request to Google. If your store account backs up app data to the cloud, delete that backup from your device or account settings as well.

13. Security

Because game data stays on your device, its security depends chiefly on your device: keep it updated and protected by a passcode or biometric lock. Any data handled by Google or Apple is protected under their own security arrangements.

14. Features that may be added later

The Game currently works entirely offline apart from advertising. Online features are planned — an online leaderboard shared with other players, optional player accounts, friends lists and timed events. They are not active today: the leaderboard you see in the Game now is the on-device one described in section 3.1, and it sends nothing anywhere. If and when online features are introduced:

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Game changes or the law does. The current version is always the one published at this address, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. Substantial changes will also be announced in the Game.

16. Contact

Questions about this policy or about your data: idlebloom7@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 30 days, as the GDPR requires.
